The Dog of Isfahan

book esfhanThe book paints a panoramic picture for Arab-Iranian relations since the first time the two Middle East nations met for the first time thousands of years ago and struggled for control over the area.
The book which was published in 2009 argues that the current sectarian-colored conflicts can implode the region if a detente is not reached and suggests a European style accord based on the model of the Helsinki Accords.
The title is based on an old Iranian (Persian) saying:The Arab eats locusts (rats); the [Iranian] dog in Isfahan drinks cold water.
